Additional changes since 1.5.3?

Postby emeyer » Sat Jun 02, 2012 6:13 am

Jules posted some brief comments, thank you. I am revivifying some 1.5.3 code this weekend. Are there additional threads it's advisable to read first?

I'd suggest just jumping in and working through any errors that the compiler throws at you.. Probably most of the changes are pretty easy to correct for.

The latest bleeding-edge code is pretty good right now, I'd go for that.

the Joomla team called it 'cutting edge.' I learned alot from them, most specifically, not to ask for apparently simple modifications What the guy did maming creating v1.6 still gives me nivghtmares. So I'll try on my own a bit, and hopefully I'll have a reason to buy a license this time. Cheers Jules)))
