Juce Demo Plugin Automation Recording Problem

I have the newest Juce (git as of July 25, 2012). Compiled the Juce_Plugin_Demo out of it. Used XCode 4.2 on OSX 10.6.8.
In Ableton Live I'm able to record automation and it works properly.
In Logic Express an Logic Pro I can't make it to record the automation.
Any insight anyone?
