Celebrating the achievements of Dutch astronomer Tycho Brahé, this track was originally the B-side to the 1989 12" single Apollo 11. Like that single's uptempo A-side, Tycho uses samples from NASA transmissions during the moon landing, but not the line of dialogue who needs the moon when we're this close to the stars as that's too cheesy even for NASA... ...oh, and it's a palindromic track too - the second half features the first half played backwards. You could do that sort of thing easily back in 1989. |
